VP II New Member Coordinator

Spring Bid Day

Each year, ZTA new members our celebrated with a bid day celebration. As VP II, I was responsible for all budgeting, set up, and design choices for the bid day. The theme was “Zeta’s are the Berry Best” to fit with Zeta’s affiliation with the strawberries.

Fall Bid Day

Fall bid day is one of the biggest day’s of the year in Zeta Tau Alpha. It serves as the finish line for formal recruitment, and a chance to welcome our new members into the sisterhood. As VP II, I was in charge of the all the budgeting, set up, and design choices such as the theme choice, “Zeta’s are a Girls Best Friend.”

New Member Retreat

During ZTA’s new member retreat, new members get the opportunity to bond with each other through a fun-filled day spent together. As VP II, I was responsible for the entire day from what activities the girls did, to what they ate for lunch. Budgeting, set up, and coordinating the day of the retreat are all responsibilities I executed as VP II.

Breast Cancer Education & Awareness

Zeta Tau Alpha’s national philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Each year, Zeta Psi raises money for our philanthropy through our Think Pink Football Game and our Big Moment on Campus talent show. Throughout my time in ZTA, I raised over $2,800 for breast cancer education and awareness through t-shirt sales for our philanthropy events and through donations.
